Header questions
Not trying to be rude or disrespectful, but did you install these headers yourself (garage) or did a shop install them? I'm in the process as well of looking at headers and have heard this leak at slip joint on LGs. The only trend I see is more home garage install with leaks vs shop install.
Your original post mentioned heat as an issue. I had a set of Melrose (ceramic coated) headers on my '07 and you could literally rest your hand on them within 10 minutes after turning off the engine...excellent quality and fitment.I did read that the earlier OBX had fewer problems than the more recently produced ones. Have you had yours for a while?
I see the VetteDoctors offer a pretty good deal on ARH, installed and tuned. That may be the way to go.

What I would say about the Pfadt headers isn't just that the Fit&Finish is excellent along with the craftsmanship, but there are two features that we try to use to distinguish ourselves.
1. The Tri-Y design. Our engineers determined this was the best way to optimize the power curve for our cars. Flow restriction is only part of the story when talking about power, the other part is the geometry of the piping as that correlates to the exhaust pulses that need to time with the valves for optimal performance. Basically, the geometry is critical for exhaust pulse tuning
2. Our flange design vs. other brands slip fit. Our flange won't leak. Period.
I think you'll be happy no matter what though. Headers make an LS sound the way it was supposed to when you lay on the gas
