I found the 05-06 Cadillac STS shift **** on Ebay.

The installation was the same as a Cadillac XLR as seen here:

I wanted to try the STS **** because it does not have the wood grain insert like the XLR **** has.

I also had my emergency brake button chrome dipped to match the chrome on the Cadillac STS ****.

Ironically .... chrome dipping the emergency brake button cost more than the STS shift ****.

I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I must say, I'm digging the DSVettes ****. Does anyone happen to know how to configure it when ordering. The website provides 2 color options and a stitching color option. I'm guessing color #1 is the handle itself and color #2 is the top inlay?

I'm going to make one for my automatic with a control button for the mild2wild exhaust. They make them for the manual but not the automatic.

Does anyone have a good dimension on the Auto Shifter for a possible Hinged Trim Ring? I am thinking of using something like this in the link below. I have never had mine off but those who have had the shifter off, maybe you could give us a good measurement so we would know what size ring would fit around the collar.

Is there an answer for the broken trim caps on the A6 shifters? I've been looking and looking and haven't found a replacement other than an entire shift ****.
