Took the 2006 out for a ride today and all was fine at first. I drove it about 90 miles and stopped at large gun store to shop for 22's. When I got back in and started it up the screen on the climate control looked liked the monster inTerminator wrist band. A series of short straight lines across the screen. Any **** adjustment made no difference. This has happened twice before when the dash was very cold and once when it was very hot. I will say the system cooled perfectaly. Anybody had this problem?

Had the exact same thing happen on my 2008. I thought the display looked like ancient hieroglyphics.
Anyway, dealer replaced the climate control "head unit" (under warranty) and it's been fine for the last two years.
Yep I agree the unit is probably toast. Think I will order one and install myself. Looks pretty much plug and play.
Rustysocket, I went to two gun stores and only found four boxes of fifty rounds and it cheap Remmington. Dealer would only allow me to buy one box for ten bucks=.20 per round. When is this madness gonna stop?

That is the best way to go. It is easy to replace.
On the second part, I feel you're pain. The last time I bought .22 ammo
it was $6 for a 600 round box.
I think they have found a way around all the gun control issues.
It doesn't matter how many guns we have if we can't get or afford ammo.....
