Looking to purchase a set of headers and x pipe..... Just wondering what's the best brands that'll give good performance gains and a nice exotic tone...... I already have a snake charmer cai and diablo tune .... Eventually I'm looking to try to achieve 500wrhp with bolt ons any advice or suggestions are appreciated ......thanks

I have ARH 1 7/8" headers, but I think that the Pfadt 4-2-1 headers are worth looking into

I have a set of LG Pro long tubes with high flow cats and x-pipe for a great deal. Had them on for one day, but too loud with corsa extremes. PM me if interested.

500RWHP with bolt-ons

Pick a header and run it, you can throw a blanket over the differences in performance.

It boils down to fit and finish in most cases. Expect to pay for quality.

The questions worth asking are how are they holding up, do you blow header gaskets, do they come loose and have to be re tightened, header mounting and fit.

Good luck!

Default PHADT Headers

I think if you do some research on the PHADT site you will see the benefits of the old school Tri-Y design they resurrected. I have them and the torque these dudes put out is really strong. I like the flange vs slip fit too. Leaks suck.
Best of luck.

Texas Speed and Performance long tubes + x-pipe = very cheap price and great quality. Ive had them for over a year now and love them. Look into them. They have a true 3" header outlet to the x-pipe for max flow. I gained just over 50rwhp with this header and x setup through the factory mufflers.

all headers will end up right around the same peak power numbers. i have had and installed every major brand on the market. i now currently have the PFADT tri-y's. the easiest headers install on a c6 i have ever done. now the peak power was within 2 hp of the lg's i removed but i gained up to 12 hp and even more torgue from 2500 to 5500 rpm. thats power where it matters most since you dont drive around at redline all the time.

there is only 3 brands i would ever recommend for a c6 Pfadt , ARH, Kooks

also 500rwhp your gona need heads, cam. bolt-ons wont get you there. unless your a z06

Pick the cheapest and use the rest of your money towards other mods. THey'll all make similar power.

I'd recommend OBX, Texas Speed or XS Power and then use the 700 bucks you saved towards a FAST intake.

My longtubes/x-pipe cost me 300 bucks and have dynod up to 625rwhp with my supercharger. Unfortunately mine are no longer being sold through the vendor on ebay.
