Default Arm Rest Replacement

Search only comes up with the typical leather upgrade options (which I've already done). I need to replace the arm rest itself. The latch broke. Does anyone have the GM number or know where I can find it?

Thanks.

Try these guys: http://www.dsvettes.com/store2008/home.php?cat=283

Also, try contacting Gene Culley at GMPartshouse: http://www.gmpartshouse.com/chevrolet-parts
He can tell you the status of oem replacement arm rests. Unfortunately, their website seems to be down currently.

Already have a leather upgrade wrap for it. Hoping to not spend $300ish of course I'm sure OEM won't be very cheap either.

Think you're looking for this which I pulled down off of GMParshouse website. They have left/right and a variety of colors. No part number though.

Collision Catalog - 2008 - Chevrolet - CORVETTE
body hardware, door, interior trim, pull handle black Left.

The part is $100. Less if it's not black.

Thank you but I'm not looking for anything having to do with the door. Maybe it's not called the arm rest. It's the center console door between the driver and passenger seat, just behind the shift ***. That little area where you'd put your wallet and phone. The latch on that door broke.

Yes and thank you. It's #7 shown in that diagram. That's what I need.

since you're going to put a cover on it get a used one. One on here is $50..... http://www.corvetterecycling.com/Sea...x=0&Search.y=0

edit: actually. the one for $50 says damaged, i would call to see how damaged or pick another one....

Get yourself a custom one while you're at for same or less money? They are genuine GM accessories.

Place a search on Ebay if you don't need one immediately.
I just picked up a new one in the wrapper for 30.00.

My old one had a broken latch, as well.

Now, this is a helpful idea.
Sometimes we forget that someone else may be getting rid of things they don't need.

Hope this helps:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/C6-Corvette-OEM-Black-Console-lid-2005-2012-/300902896464?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item460f35d350&vxp=mtr
Some of those sellers are just proud of their stuff.
I made and saved a search for arm rest and console lid and had Ebay e-mail me daily with results.
Once I found one in my price range, I pulled the trigger.
