Default Radiator Removal

are there any special tools required to get the 2 silver lines w/hex nut that are on both sides of the plastic end tanks or do you just back off the hexs w/ a wrench to remove the lines? I have to replace mine and don't want to incure more expense. thanks, Mark...

Yes, they make a tool for such a task. I have found in most instances that it is easier to remove the clip with a pick. You won't need a new clip if you lose one, but I save them.... just in case

They come in different sizes but this is the 3/8"

Since you are replacing the radiator, you could remove the fittings and then remove the fitting by removing the clips with a pick

DO NOT REMOVE THE FITTING FROM THE NEW RADITOR !!!!!

The line will snap in. Give it a tug to ensure it's locked in.
