Speaker Question
Would this do anything to improve my '09 1LT coupe sound?

I'm not looking for anything amazing, but the stock gear isn't so great. I don't believe I have the Bose stuff. (Or how would I know?) And if anybody has experience installing, is it all that complicated?

Probably a little but don't expect too much. Someone reviewed that setup a while back and wasn't impressed, said it sounded good but not what he wanted/expected.
Go over to the Audio/Electronics Forum and ask for advice. All the stereo gurus hang out there and/or just call and talk to Dennis at DoubleD.

Dennis is the man, he will hook you up. A speaker upgrade will help but it's not the complete answer.

The c2 package adds dignitary improvement, with relatively reasonable investment. I purchased this package for my 08 vert.
