Default The Simichrome Difference

Just did my bi-annual exhaust tip cleaning,I learned about Simichrome when I came to this forum,it's awesome stuff and a little goes a long way! about $7 on Amazon. Used my drill and a homemade arbor with polishing pads, then go over it by hand then a clean cloth rubbed by hand. Phone pics not the best detail but you get the picture....

btw my NPP is open all the time, cleans up real nice!!

Nice. I'll have to try that when I use up the last of my Brasso.

Yes, simichrome is great. It's what I use. I'll buy 3 or 4 tubes on line & stock up.

Default Tell me about the polishing pad

Could you tell me where you bought the polishing pad shown on the end of your drill? And what exactly it's called so I'll know what to ask for at the store?

My tube of simichrome just arrived yesterday. Also got some cockpit premium to clean the interior vinyl and Meguiar's wheel cleaner. Gonna be busy tomorrow.

Actually, I got a sheet of it from work and just cut round disc's out of it. It's hard felt polishing pad like this from Brownells dot com

or at Amazon too.

Looks good I need to do mine tomorrow. Simichrome is the best stuff. My dad got me to using it when I was a teenager on my dirt bike.
