Why?
Every time I look at my VR Corvette I notice the front marker light is yellow/amber. I ask myself "Why?" Why did it not come clear with an amber bulb to match the rest of my front lighting. Is there anything you have noticed on your Vette that should have been different and makes you ask yourself.."Why?"?

the reason it's amber/front red/rear is due to laws. It also has to be reflective up to a certain distance. An amber/red bulb, while lit is amber/red, when off behind a clear lens would not reflect amber/red.... that's why

I was not aware of this. I knew it had to blink amber, but I did not give any thought to reflective purposes.

There aren't a lot of things about my C6 that make me scratch my head but there are a few:
- Manual seat recliners. Can't bring them back up without getting out of the seat.
- Wimpy exhaust note
- Terrible sound quality out of the Bose audio system
- No way to connect an iPod or flash drive (mine's an '05)

Why did they change the FOB design in 2008? The integral key is a TERRIBLE idea. You seldom need the key but when you do it is often because you locked the FOB inside the car - now with the key.
Standardize battery location. Rear cubby is a better location. Although the cableing is a little more expensive I would think the saving of not manufacturing 2 different styles could have made up for that.
What is the deal with Bose? The Blows radio was crap in the C4! GM DOES know how to buy a good radio as evidenced by the sound quality in other models.
Why did they never update the nav system software? OK, I can understand not updating existing cars but at least the new cars should have gotten improvements. If you can improve the transmission software you can surely make the nav software more user friendly so more people could find all the neat features it has.
Redesigned under seat connectors that come loose causing the seat to not move fully automatically and the air bag light to come on.
And why didn't they add a little more insulation to reduce the heat from the tunnel? Would $5 of foam rubber have priced the car out of the market?
