Default DIC buttons stopped working

Anyone had a similar issue or have any ideas?

My car is basically stuck on odometer, I cannot scroll through the other displays because my DIC buttons appear to have stopped working. It still lights up so it is getting power, but doesn't appear to be registering when I push buttons. I even took them out to check each button (none were stuck), and then plugged in a spare set of DIC buttons and that one didn't work either. Help! I'm lost. Appreciate any info on this.

Is your battery good? Sometimes when they get older wierd stuff starts to happen. Have you tried unhooking the battery and wait a minute and then hook it up again......that might reset it......good luck..

Thanks for the input Crusher1. I have, and actually have a brand new battery and no other issues to speak of. It's weird, maybe there is an issue at the harness near the cluster. Anyone know if there is a good way to test each pin in that harness? I am no electrical engineer, so dumb it down for me if so.

I had it happen to mine. Long story short is that the connection came loose behind the buttons In the dash.

Usually it is one button that is stuck in the pressed in position.

Check that all the buttons press in and come back out.

Do you mean at the clip/harness? I will check that again. I am sure it isn't a stuck button as mentioned and as I originally thought. I checked that and even tried a spare set of DIC buttons. I'll really check that harness connection out. Thx for the input guys, I hate when stuff doesnt function properly.
