They do not sell them to vendors, the only place to get one is straight from MGW themselves. They are a great company and a pleasure to work with. I have had an MGW on my car since January and couldn't imagine ever being without one. The quality is great (you will realize it when you see and hold the cheap OEM shifter compared to MGW) and it is a night and day difference in feel. They are usually on backorder for a few weeks, I ordered mine the beginning of December and didn't receive it until Mid-late January but it is WELL worth the wait. Very inexpensive mod for a world of difference!
Whats the best place to buy a MGW Short shifter, hear tell they are well worth the money?
Directly from George. Get the shifter as well as the billet lower box, I just installed this setup in my ZR1 and this is a QUALITY piece of equipment. Let me say that again, quality, quality, quality, product as well as customer service!! After 35+ years of Corvettes I've seen my share of aftermarket products, some good, some junk and some that stand far above the others. The new MGW shifter and Billet lower box stand far above the current selection of shifters. I've tried OEM, Hurst as well as the B&M and for me anyway the MGW is the way to go. Thanks George for taking the time to engineer a far superior product.
