has anyone out there have a c5 or c6 with sidepipes on it? just curious as to how they would look. i really think it would look great with the pipes on the sides instead of the back. and i don't mean a concept picture. i mean a real c5 or 6 with the pipes. like i mentioned, just curious. thanks.
Contact Don or Wayne, Don owns SS-Vette he has a functional set that looks amazing. He is going to make a thread on them next week.
I saw them on a Vette at their shop a few weeks ago.
Let me clarify my statement above, his are not an exposed set, they are covered by a rocker panel but exit just rear of the door, and look amazing.

no one will EVER consider non functional sidepipes. i'm talking about real functional pipes that will make the c5 and 6 guy's take notice. i'm telling you, they will become a big seller. jmo
To make the side pipes functionable you would have to fabricate the pipes from the headers to make some very weird bends. The gas tanks in a Vette make it almost impossible to make the exhaust more efficient than the stock set up. I've seen some artist renderings that look great..Nice eye candy..but no performance gains.
