Default Crystalline Tinting

I found a reputable certified 3M installer and discussed the crystalline tint which is supposed to reduce the heat up to 60%, blocks 99.9% of the UV rays, and so on and so on. Has anyone used this on their cars and tell me if there is a difference? My car sits in the hot sun at work for 10 hours and it is scorching when I get in to drive home. This tint is supposed to stop that to some degree. The cost for the windshield, two side windows, and rear with vinyl over the dots is $750. Lifetime guarantee. Thoughts.

A friend of mine had it done on his GT500 and it never gets hot inside. Actually have to run the air conditioner lower since it was installed. He paid over $600 which included the windshield. Looking around the net it seems to run $600 and up when the windshield is included.

I've had Crystaline on my car for the last year. I didn't do the windshield but I does make a big difference. After 10 hours in the sun your car is going to be hot anyway. I do notice that it takes longer to get super hot, especially in the back hatch area and I can really feel the difference while driving.

If I had to park in the sun I think I would add a California Pop Top or something similar. I am fortunate in having a parking deck at work so my car is covered all day anyway.

I paid $400 for the hatch and sides.

I have crystalline on the mustang and another brand on my vette that cost me less than $200.
Both work the same. As long as you get a name brand tint you'll be ok.
Here in Arizona tint is important and the crystalline has proved no better than the others. I'm one of those that spent the extra $200 to find out.
