Can anyone refer me to a reliable/reputable engine shop in the Bergen cty NJ/Rockland Cty, NY area that can assemble an LS7 for me? I'd prefer someone with LS engine expertise and be capable of doing a tune as well. My stuff is currently sitting at Cartek and they aren't very responsive.
Thanks in advance,
Ken
If you want the best then cartek in gar wood, nj is the best in all the east coast. Ask the other builders how many engines they have blown/ destroyed better yet ask some of there customer.
Cartek hands down
Makes no sense to me why you would have your stuff there and not getting worked on. Julio and John are great and always on top of things, when I'm home for a brief few weeks after being deployed around the world my cars work gets done ASAP.
You don't wanna rush people especially when there working on your engine, good work takes time, when it gets done it gets done.
Cartek did all of the work on my car, but it was the previous owner. I spoke with them briefly (John) before buying for an inspection, and they happily discussed the condition and all the mods in the build.
A year later owning my car and the previous owners experience with them, Cartek builds amazing vettes! My 480rwhp H/C LS2 runs like a dream and is flawless. So I'd be confident in saying that, whatever is being done, you car is in great hands. I wish I had a shop like them nearby.
