Maybe you should move up to a different C6: G.S., Z06, or a 427 vert. there were a lot of improvements since your car has been out.

thanks
I am still thinking and not sure yet, I feel bad I have near 12k in mods, wheel tire package cost me over $5k
if I sell it I don't see what I can buy that can be as fun, but I kinda like Maserati grand turismo (used), and new boxter also, and of course the new c7

Your car looks awesome. Why sell it?

The car looks great and remember what could you own for 30 grand that even comes close..

Unless your running to buy a c7 right now....

Just take whatever further depreciation that occurs on your c6 as an experience..

As much as I like it I thought the same thing just haven't asked them.

TerryL was referring to trading his car, not yours.

An 07 with only 22k on the odometer for $30K?? No way!! Foolish move if you ask me. The car looks fantastic. Why let somebody else have all the fun with it. It's not even broken in yet with only 22k on it. Unless your going to move up (now) on another model or a C7( which I dislike). I'd keep it. Just my opinion here.

I traded my 07 3LT fully loaded with 7700 miles for $28500 when I got the 427 Vert. I would say the price is spot on with your mods. If you really want a new C7, I don't think you will get a better price than $30K.

Maybe it's the area but a friend just sold an 07 coupe 3lt with 14k mi with upgraded leather interior for $32900, to a private party. I would think in this area the op's car would bring that kind of money as well. As I mentioned earlier in this thread another good friend got 27k in trade for his 04 convertible on a very well discounted 13 GS. Personally I would keep that white coupe until I found something that I really fell in love with.

Sorry, he sold the 07 for 32000. He was asking 32900. I found out he dropped to 32 and sold it.

I'd sell it and grab a C7 in a few years.

The only problem I would have if it was me would be missing out on a Corvette for 2 years. If he puts on another 7ooo miles in 2 years and finds that he does like the C7's I would think he would still have a very desirable used car. One of this areas top Corvette salesmen told us recently that those customers looking to get into their first Corvette will gobble up all clean Corvettes priced at 30K and under.

Take the money. That's a lot of mods that someone likes. Go for it.

BTW do you still have the original tires and wheels? Why give away $5000 if you sell it. Might be worth close to the same with stock rims.

Actually I'd take the 30 grand because even if you think you'll get a better offer....you won't. Plus, the C7's a whole new game. As for waiting to get a second or third year C7, even though it may seem sensible, a lot can happen in 2 years. I'd love to get 28K for mine so go for it. If you have a problem with the C7, well, that's why they have warranties and lemon laws.

Don't base your decision on what you may buy in 1-2 years. You might not like the C7 and prices for the C7 in 1-2 years will most likely be 10% lower or more than now. You may also find something else to do with your money while you are waiting. My Vette is therapy for me and my hobby. Your Vette is real nice and $30k while a good deal would not be enough for me to sell it. You spent a lot on mods which you'll be basically pissing that mod money away.

Great interior! I got $28.5 in trade on my '06, M-6 Z-51 on my '13. Only had 14,800 and brand new tires. If I would have sold it privately, I would have gotten $30k, I have no doubt. But the sales tax difference would have eaten that $1.5K, so it was a wash. The $5K in cash rebate was a major deciding factor for me. Why not consider a C6 now instead of going Vetteless for 2 years? There have been significant improvements across the board from '07. You'll never get a deal on a C7 in two years like you would now on a C6. Except for the ridicules tail lights, I like the C7 style-wise, but no thanks to cylinder deactivation especially on a 1st year--or ever, for me.
