Standard C6s breathe through the bottom. Widebody cars breathe through the "mouth".
I've driven NY to Michigan and NY to Carlisle with my normal C6 with a blower kit and an intercooler blocking half the radiator. There's no discernible increase in coolant or oil temps whatsoever.
