As a few might know I recently bought my Vette last Friday. Well at work today, I am outside on break and I was just enjoying the view of her and I noticed my guard was a little off so I got closer and looked at it well the clip/pin used to hold the two pieces of the guard together that go around the fangs is broken and was just sitting there hanging off, and than the corner (driver side) isn't lined up with my bumper which is sticking out towards the wheel.
I have to go back to my dealer today to sign a paper they forgot and I am going to have them look at it and fix it, and hoping they better not charge me...I know I didn't cause this because I have been more caution than ever driving and parking with not being 100% use to how low I am.
Also maybe its just because I am not use to the Vette yet but it feels like when I have the wheel turned all the way it is either rubbing against something, maybe just different feeling from a Camaro to Vette.
The black air dam scrapes on just about everything. If you aren't very careful like taking bumps and driveways at an angle this is going to be a common occurrence.

Ya, I've notice this but I noticed the misalignment to the bumper after I got home. Which I drove straight home after the dealer, so I know that happened before I had it. Hopefully they can repair it though.
I always take the horrible sound it makes as a sign that something else really expensive isn't hitting. Good luck at the dealer, a good one will take care of this for you.

with all of the above. The air dam pieces are easy to replace and if the dealer is nice they'll replace them, if not you can get them as a set for like $90 for all 3 pieces, or if you just need the one side it's like $35... as far as the rubbing when turning the wheels, i'm assuming you have run flats and if you do, that feel is normal because of the walls inside that make it run flat. It's called wheel hop i believe, no worries there either enjoy the ride!!
already stated, they scrape on just about anything you drive over or on inclines like driveways. Normally they are not hurt, maybe a few scraps. They are flexible and designed to bend in both direction and the center one is spring loaded and is pretty sturdy.
