Default Pay dirt!!

After a lot of searching, I finally bought my first Vette today. My 16 year old daughter and I flew to South Bend, IN today to pick it up. We had one of the unforgettable days on the 525 mile trip back to Knoxville, TN. It's an 08 1lt black with ebony. 18m miles on the clock. Automatic trans, Corsa exhaust and a killer after market Alpine stereo system that includes 2 amps and subs. Car is phenomenal. I have wanted one forever and am just looking forward to learning more about the car.

Welcome to the club. I know the 16 year old enjoyed the stereo more than anything. I have a 16 year old grandson so I know. To celebrate with you, I’ll be driving mine to work tomorrow. By the way where are the pictures?

Congrats! Post some pics which are mandatory on this forum for new owners.

As far as the stereo, my daughter even said it is not a good one so she plugged in her headset with ipod or whatever.

She drove about 80 miles on the way back and loved it. I took her twin brother out and let him drive it when we got home. He had a blast too.

Congrats on the car and welcome to the forum. Most especially congrats on letting your kids drive this awesome car...you're building priceless experiences. My grand daughter drove my 5th gen Camaro SS to 12.5 @ over 113 mph. She beat a poor young guy in a whipple charged Mustang 4.6 5 times, once she ran him down after he red lighted. We will never forget our car times together. She's a twin too.
