Default Navigation integration Question

Hey guys - Is there an aftermarket Navigation unit that offers XM, DVD, iPhone, NAV, steering controls and integrates with the HUD? For HUD integration, I mean NAV direction indicators like the base unit does now, and will display the XM radio songs, like the Camaro does. The base unit now just shows the channel you change to, not the song.

Also, if the song does not appear in the HUD .. the regular speedometer will still work with an aftermarket unit.. correct?

Thanks in advance!!!

AFAIK, there is no aftermarket unit that does all the things you mentioned.

Many wil do all of what you say but none of the will intergrate with the HUD. If you are interested in all diffrent options go to DDmods.com He has many diffrent options and prices.

We can retain all stock functions but the HUD and this is not going to happen as the language GM uses will not be compatible with anything aftermarket.
HUD will work the same with the exception of no directions.

We have the adapters available for those who purchase a radio from us in a package deal to allow you to retain the stock Sat radio antenna
You will need to purchase the optional SXV200 module that is universal now to all current 2013 radios that are available

If you have stock NAV you can also retain the stock GPS antenna as well

I left you a message on your webpage. I think I am ready to order something. I have a 2013 Grand Sport with Nav, XM, onstar, bluetooth, bose, steering wheel controls, 1 USB port in center console. Went to your website and picked out the following:
DNX890HD
GMOS--04
WITH FACTORY BLUETOOTH
KENWOOD IPOD CABLE
MASETRO SW CONTROL MOD
NO CAMERA
PRE WIRE OPTION
SXV200 & ADAPTOR
From looking at this thread and your website with all these things I don't have to install anynew antenas and the only thing I would lose from the factory system is the directions coming up in the HUD. Is that correct?
Are most (if not all) the connections from the new radio to the old wiring going to be just plug and play or will there be a lot of wire tracing and splicing?
Do you have these parts in stock.

Please let me know after 11 years of Corvette radios and nav units I can't wait to do this.

Thanks

Will look for your email in a few minutes
YES- all of these are instock
there will only be one wire that will need to be connected that we can not do. This would be a longer orange wire I would have coming out of the Kenwood harness extended for you so you can connect to the Gray Wire with Black Strip on your traction control button harness. Since there is NO dimming at all with the stock nav unit there is no connectivity for this wire in the GMOS04 or any harness for that matter so this is why the one connection is needed. The rest is plug and play.
You will have to adjust volume on gmos04
which we have link on our website on how to do this as well.
http://www.doubledmods.com/Installation.php
Or course you can also call for help as well should you need it.
The prewire will make it plug n play and the radio will power up and have sound with what we do to it for you.
You will need to plug in your nav antenna
run the adapter cable from the SXV200 module to the stock tuner(under waterfall in a vert and driver back corner on all others)
connect cable from sxv200 to the supplied adapter unplug the yellow connector from the stock tuner connect to this yellow adapter with the cable and adapter combo we supplied and your stock antenna is retained.
The 890 also has a second USB and we will be adding this week the adapter we have now found to connect the USB in the console to the second USB port on back of radio. So you can then retain the center USB as well
Hope this helps you and everyone else with more info. I will reply to your email as well
Thanks for asking
Dennis

PS
The same exact setup will work with any other brand of radio besides Kenwood. Kenwood is just our brand of choice we ourselves like to work with is all.
