Can't get into the link here at work, but my experience with vents on my old C5 and my current C6 has been that they do help to some degree, but maybe not enough to make them really worth the money. They work better for me at lower speeds. On the highway, I still have wind hitting me in the side of the head.
I never use mine anymore and won't invest in a set for the C7 when I buy one.
