1-4 fuse replacement

Can someone direct me to the post for changing the fuse to eliminate the annoying 1-4 shift?

There are many posts. Several of the forum vendors sell the replacement fuse. You can contact the forum vendors directly to buy them for around $14 or so. The go in slot 10 under the hood fuse box. Google it rather than using the forum search if you want to search for the best price.

$14 for a fuse? As much as I would like to support forum vendors, that's insane.

Go to you local auto store. I picked up a pack of 6 smart fuses for about $2. Went home and using my car battery charger, I shorted out the smart fuse and then replaced the CAGS fuse with the blown smart fuse.

In the fuse panel, you can see the glowing smart fuse indicating that it is a blown fuse.
