Last day at old job and on to a new one. My vacation starts today and i am picking up my new 13 GS from dealership. Solid friday!!! Any recommendations on mods to the GS initially?
Corsa sport exhaust! Why GM made them sooo quiet I don't know. IMO the sport is the perfect balace of growl and no drone while cruising. congrats on the new wheels and the new job.
Congrats on your new job & your new GS! As far as mods go...............if you go for cosmetic / performance or both I would say go with GM factory parts as much as you can.
Enjoy the new GS!
Mods I've done so far on my 2011 GS (purchased in June 2012 w/140 miles on the odo):
home-made mild to wild switch - about $12 in parts from Autozone
blown smart-fuse to disable CAGS
embroidered GS console lid
"CORVETTE" lettering kits for dash & rear bumper (silver interior - brake light red for rear)
Full color Corvette flag decal for air bridge
APSIS front splash guards (narrow) to prevent stone chips in the paint & reduce mess from driving in rain (yes - it's a daily driver and gets wet occasionally, esp here in FL!)
Mods made by the original owner:
GS logo underhood blanket and underhood light kit
Full front end, front fenders, headlights, rear-view mirrors, and door edge 3M clear-bra film
Stainless steel gas pedal cover (makes it more closely match the clutch & brake pedals)
Planned mods:
Next year after warranty is up get a Diablo tuner and put in an after-market tune
Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires once the OE GY Gen 2's are done
