1998 Stingray
Converstion on my traffic stop.
Violator: I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in over 15 yrs. The last time was in my corvette.
Me: What did you have?
Violator: I had just left the dealership with a new 1998 "Stingray" Cops says he paced me 70 mph in a 30.
Me: Wow a 1998 Stingray, I heard they only made about 200. Was it the C7 or C8 version.
Violator: C7 automatic
Me: You still have it?
Violator: No, I sold it a few months later, It got too much attention form you guys.
Me: Bummer, pleaes sign by the X,
I left him with his dream.
