What is the origin of the often used term "garage queen."
Probably from some Corvette owner who drove the wheels off his and couldn't afford a new and was jealous of his neighbors low mileage, garaged kept beauty.
I guess those that know me, will immediately recognize the thread is a parody on the guys who criticize, low mileage drivers. Those that don't know me may, unfortunately, take this thread seriously.
As a humorous thread it's barely holding its own. As a parody thread it fails miserably. You need more practice on the interweb.
I drove mine more miles in one week in April this year than some of you drive in several years.
Urban Dictionary - "A rarely driven car that is in mint or near mint condition, is only driven in fair weather (no rain/snow), and is kept in the garage, usually washed and waxed, under a cover."
or
"Cars that are so close to being finished, but no one ever gets around to doing the work to get them running."
I hope you guys take good care of those garage queens. I greatly appreciate it. I bought one for half the price of a new one, and I still feel like I'm driving a new car.
So in 100 years there are only two groups of people left in this world, the DD's and the Garage Queens, I guess we can just nuke each other and there will be nobody left. Geese.

Plausible explanation!
