So this has happened twice so far on my 2013 GS. It is a 6-speed. I get in, push down the clutch and hit the ignition...and nothing. I lift off the clutch and push it back down, hit the ignition and it starts right up.
It is almost like the car doesn't think I pushed the clutch it so it won't start. I don't recall having this issue on my 2005 (also a 6-speed) and I have driven manuals all my life so I know the process on how to start it.
Anyone else run into this issue? I don't know if this is something I can take to the dealer to have them check since it is very random and probably impossible to recreate on demand.
I can run your VIN to see if there are any open service related announcements. I can also help if you do decide to go to the dealership, keep me posted.
