So, went for a drive today....about 15 minutes in, abs engaged even though I wasn't braking hard. Then the a/c shut off for a moment and the climate control screen on the center dash when blank. Also the service actice handling and abs warnings came on....then the headlights came on, even thought it was sunny out. I turned off the lights but the dic said "headlights suggested" The a/c went off and on again and then shut down for good, while the dic warnings for active handling, abs and headlights remained on. Drove home shut her down and let it sit for about 10 , before starting her up again. Every thing seemed to be back to normal except the speedo/odo switched from kph to mph......heading out on vacation/road trip next weeked and now concerned if I should take the Vette as planed. The battery was replaced in the spring.
What to do.......
check for loose wiring under the seat....there was a recent post about this...hopefully that will solve it...
I zipped tied the conector under the seat back when I had the intermittent airbag warning light problem a couple of years ago....is this the conector you are refering to?
Did you happen to notice your voltage when the car was running?
It's possible the battery could have a short in it, and it will not hold a full charge.
I bought a new Optima yellow top, and 4 months later it was toast.
I had all kinds of weird things happening. I thought it was the alternator, but a battery discharge test proved it to be the battery.
If your battery is good, then it's hard to believe that so many things are happening due to a loose wire under the seat, but it never hurts to check everything.
What about the battery connections????
Did you also check the grounds???

Good Luck
The car starts, so I don t think its the battery conections, might just pull the battery and take it back and have them test it.
When you replaced the battery, did you re-use the cone-shaped nuts on your terminal clamps?
DO NOT USE REGULAR NUTS!! They will allow the clamps to loosen. Then you'll have symptoms of a weak/dying battery... lots of electrical malfunctions, just like you describe: http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread...attery-Failure
Of course, if your car sits a lot and/or is driven mostly short distances, your near-new battery might've slowly drained. Or maybe you just have a bad battery.

Yes used the original nuts..
Just returned from a half hour drive....no issues. I will take the battery in tomorrow and have it tested.
