Default splash guards

i recently got a c-6 and want to put on splash guards, on my c-5 i have installed the color matched guards that come down and under the fenders and have bottomed out from time to time and have had to replace them. i have been looking online at the [black p.v.c] guards that come down along side the wheel well and only go below the fender a couple of inches. does anyone have this type and do they give the protection that is needed. thanks..

Get the GM standard guards. They are the best looking and protect the paint. Keep them black.

I've had mine for 4 years. They're the best. And easy to install.

If you paint them, you start the process of endless chipping of the paint.

And you take what is essentially invisible in black to an eye sore.

All black plastic fades over time. I use "Armore All" and Mothers "Back to Black" to keep them black.

I know, I'm just a little bit of a clown from time to time. Just some humor here to lighten up things.

Apsis makes a nice product but their pricing is absolutely ridiculous.

GM is nice clean and functional.
