The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

My basis for not liking black wheels is not due to my age, or the perceived cost level of a black wheel. For me, the lack of definition, visually, is the problem. I like wheels. I get that wheels are a big visual factor.
And that said, I loose a lot or all of the visual details of the wheel when it is rendered in all black. This shows up in many pictures of cars like that, when often all that one can really see clearly is a black circle. I do not care for the lack of a defining line between the wheel and the tire. And yes, I concede that sometimes a few spokes are visible, if there are larger gaps in the wheel design, and if the photo was taken against a well-lit brake rotor as a background.
The other negative for me is that I associate all black wheels with the onslaught in the last dozen years of the modified Japanese and Korean street racers. That is not particularly an image that i want to be associated with, nor do I want to impart that style, or look, to a luxury or high-end sports car of any make.
I also am on record that I find it completely ridiculous to lower a C6. But that is a different argument, and is not dependent on wheel color.

Have you given any thought to black chrome in the Cups, Z06, Spyders or ZR1s? Maybe add a black halo as well. Might be a pretty cool looking.
