Just like when the C6 came out, there was an overdoes of these types of threads in the C5 section, time heals all wounds.......

C6 Corvette will never be mistaken for anything but a C6 Corvette whereas the C7 might be seen as a 350Z FROM ONE ANGLE and god knows what else from another. It's a Corvette, but it ain't pretty by any means. It looks like it got into a bar fight with a Nissan or infinti and an ACURA TL (back mid section)...and all 3 lost!

c7 looks like the F12 (see car and driver )

I enjoy the fact that every generation is unique, and doesn't look outdated to me, there are enough changes that it doesn't seem to "age" rather, it evolve.

Let's be honest. If we had the opportunity to trade our C6 for a C7 straight up, no strings attached, no money exchanged, probably 90% or more of us would. For me, I am waiting until the circumstances are right including the settling down of the current frenzy.

You must be crazy, I'd take that Velocity Yellow Z06 Pictured above over any C7. Breathtakingly beautiful car!

You really do not think that yellow Vette looks better than the blue C7. The yellow Vette looks old and dated when compared to the C7.

Don't feel sad, we own a great sports car, the C7 is just like the C6 was to the C5, a step up. I really did not want to get a C6 but I wanted a vert and I worked for GM at the time-how could I resist. Now if I only still worked for GM.......

I bet most non car guys will not even know the C7 is a Corvette. And not just because of the rear.

IMHO the C5 looks like a land yacht next to any generation Vette and I owned one.

I just came back from the garage after taking a peak and it's been almost seven years since I've had her

If my 06 vert had proper driveline tunnel insulation it would be the perfect uber sport touring machine. Fits me perfectly. Just returned from an eight state tour from sea level to over 11,000' at over 4,300 miles and had nary a problem. Performance was very satisfying and, my grey over silver C6 Convertible is just beautiful! C7s from the front look like their grill has teeth (and) braces, and their rear is just a bit too angular to suit me. IMO the C6 is a gorgeous car, top up or top down. Maybe the C7 vert will be better looking.

The C6 is a classically handsome car, so it will be aesthetically appealing for many years. The C7 is much more modern looking however. Not necessarily better looking, but definitely updated.

I am 25. I own a C6. I prefer it over the C7. I think they are nice, but with the added weight, and ugly rear, they aren't really an upgrade. The engine and gadgets are cool, but aren't enough.

The C5 is and was MISERABLE looking. Ugly, dated, girly, rounded and just plain disgusting. C5Zs are an exception to this. I never liked Corvettes until the C6.
