After 6 years and 53,000 trouble-free miles, I'm getting a Check Engine Oil Level warning. The oil level is full, so it is obviously the sensor. Doesn't come on when cold, it only appears after the car is warmed up. When shut off and restarted, the warning appears. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this, and if it is covered under the powertrain warranty.
(P.S., yes I used the search function and found nothing on this)
Last week our dealership had a 2013 coupe on the rack, tech was replacing the oil level sensor with less than 10k miles. Looked pretty easy. Stuff happens. Good luck with yours.
Where is the oil level sensor located? Some say the grand sport doesn't even have one, but I am getting the indication on the DIC after headers and x-pipe as well as retune
