You seem to dislike the C7 rear styling. Other people like it. Some don't care one way or the other. What's for dinner?

Unbelievable.

New car is just out and already people are making noise about its replacement coming "soon."

Unfrickinbelievable.

Okay, but not sure what the significance of that is. Does the fact that it came out 6 months ago mean that there is nothing to it?

^ Yes, it does mean exactly that. If there was any substance to it there would be constant multiple discussions about it on this Forum, with certainty. Absence of the same is a clear indication that the article is relatively baseless, and not worth further discussion by CF members.

Apparently you both missed the point that he was demonstrating the OLD dated interior, versus the NEW modernized interior. The folks in the C7 Section are fully aware they are purchasing the newest best interior offering ever in a Corvette . . . . . . .

Tonight I had
Chopped steak/fries/salad/cheese cake.

I also did an after dinner drive in my antique C6.

High quality materials (2014 car) replace the rental-grade interior of the previous car, which continues on as the Impala Limited for fleets. Quote from Motor Trend.
No complaints here about the interior in my wife's '08 Impy, or my '12 GS for that matter. JMO
