Is there much difference in using facrtory touch up paint vs dr color chip? Just noticed a small chip on the rear fender well.

Why is that? better type of applicator or better matched color?
Thanks.

Basically it uses a dab, smear, and blend technique. Go to their website and there are videos that demonstrate the 3 step process they use. It does a better job of explaining it than I can do plus you get the visual aspect of their process.

Factory touch up has never done the job as well as Dr Colorchip for me. Use it on all our cars

Looking forward to seeing it!

The road rash on the front of mine is atrocious. A few years ago, I spent an entire weekend with a #00 brush and a bottle of touch-up paint, and it looked good!. This last polish/wax exposed all the chips, so it's time to do it again. It's bad enough, I considered having the mirrors and everything in front of the doors painted.

That's a big chunk of change, though, and I'd rather not do that, if this stuff works.
