Default Exhaust help

Hey guys just picked up an 09 LT2 coupe...its bone stock, i would like to get a catback exhaust but just a little louder than stock. Love the stock exhaust on WOT but would like it to be slightly more rumbly upon idle and cruising. any ideas?

Thanks

Corsa Sports may be what you're looking for. Try to attend a local Corvette club gathering and listen to what they have.

some people have done the muffler Mod and have been pleased with the results.
I personally drilled a 3/4" hole, and it got the sound where I wanted it to be.

Thanks for the ideas! I was also looking at borland exhaust systems. I think Corsa sounds a little more aggressive than I would like but I'm going to try and attend a club gathering to see if I hear what I'm looking for!

Just a FYI... That particular mod would not pass the yearly inspections in PA.

(paraphrasing: any external muffler patches/repairs will fail the inspection)

Nor does a patch with screws pass an inspection in my area either. I drilled the hole, used a electrical box knockout closure plug, and had that welded over the hole.
It passes our strict yearly inspection, as long as it is not leaking.

Don't know exactly what it wound do on a C6 but my buddy had a Mid America set installed at Funfest this year on his C5. It sounded just barely louder at idle and a little more so when he revved it. Said it was just a little louder in cabin at cruise.

I had Borla Stingers on my C5 and loved them. However, for my C6 the Corsa Sports sound perfect! NO drone, nice sound, almost exotic sounding.

I got the MAM quad cruiser setup with the x-pipe installed this past August at Carlisle. Nice sound, better then stock, more like a corvette should sound like from the factory. Quality, fit and finish is top notch, as is the price, and million mile warranty. I would reccomend this with no reservations.....
