Has anyone completed the 2012 seat conversion on a base 1LT car with the one piece seat back upholstery? Mine is a 2008 model.
Is it possible to add some additional foam in the lumbar area with the conversion? My 2008 1LT has some lumbar curve in the seat, but does not have a lumbar bladder. Many of the 2012 seat back pictures I've seen seem completely flat, apparently with the lumbar bladder deflated. Thanks for your input.
You should be able to do that. You might have to add the two whit plastic clips that hold the center back in place but that would be easy.
You could probably add some foam to fill in the hole where the side air bags would go and adding some extra foam where the lumbar bladder would be is also doable.
