Hey everyone,
I just purchased my first Corvette. A 2007 C-6 convertible. I have a lot to learn. I am interested in getting a cover as well as washing & waxing supplies. Any recommendations out there? Also the do's and don'ts?? What's the best Corvette website for accessories??
Thank you!!

First off welcome to the forum. You will get some great info here.

Second you need to post some pictures of your new ride and if you don't know how, go the the Help section and there near the top you will find a post on how pictures can be posted.

As far as a car cover is concerned, we need to know is it a garage kept car or will it live out side? there are numerous different types of covers for the different use intended.

Finally polish and wax products will very. Everyone has their own favorites. The range for products that you can get at the major outlet stores and auto parts stores to the specialty products sold online and different vendors. There is a car care section and you may get more info there. I suggest that you try a few different products and see which you like best. As I said many here will tell you to use a specific brand, but then again that is based on their own likes and dislikes. I have been using one brand for over 8 years now and I am completely satisfiedwith it and see no need to change. So that a few and see if you are happy with one and that is it.

As for accessories, I suggest that you look at the different forum vendors and see what they have to offer. They are the ones that support this site so we try and give them our business.

Congratulations.

You are here, the best place for all your answers. Read, read, read. Everything is at your fingertips. Try the detailing section and you will be completely confused until you try things for yourself. You are going to enjoy everything you read.

Welcome aboard! :yes nod:

Go to General Corvette and then Car Care Products (detailing section).

Congrats and this is a good resource for information. Use the search button.

Even better, use Google search. I've found 9 times out of 10 it references this forum, but the specific thread. The search function here will give you many "hits" which you will then need to wade through.
