Windshield cowl replacement
So I am on my third cowl.
This time I did the job myself.
I have all 5 clips as well as all 5 tabs attaching to understand of glass.
I applied a ball of sealant on all 5 windshield taps and installed.
I DID NOT RUN THE BEAD OF CAULK ALONG THE EDGE OF THE GLASS.
As I understand the fix as shown by GM this is not needed.
Hopefully third time is the charm.
Question is did I screw up by not running the bead? I was afraid it would be to messy.
