Default TPMS Relearning Procedure

Probably posted already but I thought I would bring it up again as I did it properly once (likely by accident) and couldn't get it done the second time.

Put the car in learn mode by setting the start button to Accessory Mode (yellow light below and to the right of the start button). Press both Lock and Unlock on your key fob at the same time. Hold them down together until you get a single horn beep. Now you are in learn mode.

Take your frequency tool to the LF tire first and excite the sensor with your preferred tool, than go Clockwise to the RF, then the RR and then the LR. Any other direction or crossing over the car from FL to RR will not work. When learned at each wheel the horn will give another single beep. When you finish at the LR it will give 2 quick beeps.

I didn't follow the LF and clockwise sequence yesterday and had to go back to the tire store to get it done today and could have done it myself very simply (I have the ATEQ VT5 tool).

BTW, my car is an 08 and this sequence and tool works it. The VT5 claims it works for 06-13 Z06s and C6s, but I only know it works on my 08, so google is your friend if you have another model.

2010 vettes with the green tpms sensor can pair sensors to car by releasing air from the tire.

I think the door is also supposed to be open to get into learn mode.
