Default Mild to wild position

I am confused , when my vette is parked should the mild to wild switch be left in the loud position or quiet positon to save on battery . I have been leaving mine in the quiet mode . I thought that would save battery .

I believe there are two ways to install the M2W. One way is the "zero current draw" method and the other way has some current draw. Then, if you have installed it using the method for some current draw, I believe there is less current draw if you leave it in the "wild" mode when you shut down.

Thanks guys I have been doing it wrong. I put a trickle charger on it the other day and it took a while .The switch being in the quiet mode is probably the reason.

The zero draw install is attached to a different fuse that is not powered when car is off, so the unit resets every time to be in wild mode when the car starts. Tommy installed mine at delvery, so not sure which fuse. Find the install directions if you want to change it. I think they are linked out here on the board somewhere.

I keep mine and shut it down in the quiet mode. When the car shuts down the flaps open and on start up they are open. They close back down a few seconds after startup. Mine is not hooked up to zero drain but I always keep it on a battery maintainer.
