Replacing center console
Anybody here had the dealer replace the center console?
The top cover of my 2012 has a very small mark on it and dealer is willing to replace under warranty but instead of just unscrewing the top cover, wants to replace the entire console. (Seems like overkill to be able to generate warranty work and overcharge GM.)
My concern is if they could screw it up so that I have to keep going back and forth multiple times. I would rather live with a small mark or just buy the cover and replace it myself.

It's crazy to replace the whole center console if all you need to do is replace the console lid/armrest.
Get a nice padded one from DSV and replace it your self in 3 minutes.
