I am looking at 2 427 Corvettes. 1 is a 1SC with the carbon fiber package and the other is a 1SB without the carbon package. Is the 1SC interior worth it and do people have problems with stones and stuff with the carbon fiber package?

I think the 1SC is worth it and the CF skirts actually help protect the body from stones.

I'm happy with mine.

Thanks for responding. I do like the way the CF makes the car look.

I also have the 1sc with carbon fiber, I traded in a 2008 with the 3lt(1sb) and I like the new 1sc interior of the 427 much better, I think you will be happy with it.
add front splash guards those cars like to throw dirt is what I have heard.
only put about 600 miles on mine before I put it away for winter.

I also have the 1SC package on my 427 Convertible. I don't have the CF option, so I installed the front splash guards on the car to help prevent rock chips, and with 12,000 miles, I have very few in any on the rockers

I went a little over kill and added a clear bra on the front, half hood and lower rockers including the CF side skirts.

Options are good - IMO the 1SC is the way to go. No issues with the interior or CF package...in terms of appearance, doesn't get any better.

Definitely the C.F. pkg., it looks great, protects from road debris, and keeps the car planted at high speeds. I have the 1SC pkg. as well (1,713 of the 2,552 '427's were produced with this pkg.).

I have a 1SB with the carbon fiber package.........1st thing to do is get the proper splash guards with any 427 you get (the ZO6 and 427 are made to throw rocks and debris up at the lower sides of your car---just a fact). I got the splash guards and had the 3m clear plastic installed (part of the package was that it covered the lower sides near the vents, etc.). My front splitter took a beating this summer--and I don't drive crazy. I have 4 good size dings in the 3M plastic---looks like the carbon fiber underneath is OK. What I don't know is whether the painted bumper would have taken the hits if I didn't have the carbon fiber splitter. I tend to think so.

I have the 1SC package. I don't care for the Alcantara seat inserts that much.

I bet Gerardo at Down South Vettes could make you some seat skins in leather that would match the interior and you would be happy with. Leather work doesn't get any better than from Down South Vettes .

He doesn't use the right color blue to match the stitching I already have.

The 1SC interior is worth it...I have ground affects on my C5 (sits lower) and it was a pain in the a%$ to maneuver thru dips, drives, etc. Was set on not getting the 427 CF pkg, wife and I went to compare with/without and she immediately made the decision to buy with the CF pkg. Hands down a much better/aggressive look. Doesn't sit as low with the taller wheels. For rock chips...HIGHLY recommend APSIS front splash guards and 3M (I had my splitter and skirts done as well...best decision I made).

Good luck
