so this place is right in my hometown and they make these. it takes them roughly 3 months and they are beautiful. imo if these were factory cars I might switch from a ford fan to chevy fan. we need more vehicle designs like this!!!
Not sure where 'home' is - - but there was a company from Oklahoma that displayed those types of conversions at Barrett Jackson last year starting at a buck and a quarter - - not for me.
I like the concept but the rear end looks odd and with how low the C6 sits to the ground (compared to a C2) no way to make it look right and add side-pipes. Nose looks sharp though!
I am a huge fan of a well-executed resto-mod but the conversion is a bit of a swing and a miss for me...
granted that is including the price of a new vette, but still pricey. I believe it takes about 3 months to complete. their fitment and paint is stellar. way better than factory. we had karls paint the stribes on my dads Shelby. after they did that and recleared the whole thing it looked better than factory! they really seem to do good work, but its not for the average joe
The roadster version (shown in one of the previous youtube clips - in Red) I think looks quite nice. Just my .02
The only thing I'll say (in general) is that it would have been kinda cool to have had the designer build a "stinger" hood (or a piece that looked appropriate and conveyed the thought of the '67 427) into the 2013 427 that many of us purchased. Would have set it apart (as long as it would have been tastefully done - Tastefuilly done being the key here) from the base Vette, Grand Sport, Z06 & ZR1.
