IMO, nothing besides what saplumr said. Any waxing or buffing will turn your flat black paint into a semi gloss black paint. This is why I am reluctant to do a flat paint job. If it isn't a really clean spray job, then I cannot depend on wet sanding and buffing like I could a gloss paint job.
This one I'd like to see in a photo. I've seen some Jeeps that wear flat black well and my son thinks it would work on a Corvette but I just can't picture it.

You might also consider PlastiDip as it comes out flat if you don't put a layer of glossifier over it. I PlastiDiped my chrome wheels flat black this spring and its very durable. I also did my emblems, marker lights, rear wing, and chicklettes. Inexpensive and peals off with a little effort when you want to change color or go back to original. I also did my interior parts red with the glossifier and both turned out great.
Just my two cents. (eventually I'm going to do my entire car in firebelly orange and see how I like it.)
