dead battery question
I parked my 2012 for about 5 hours and when I tried to start the car the battery was dead. The only thing I could think happened is that I turned on the acces. to raise the top and didn't punch the ignition button again thinking that opening the door would automatically reset to off. I hope that is all but has anyone had a similar experience?

To be honest, after reading many threads, and hundreds of posts, I still have no idea what gives with 'vette batteries.
Some last 4~5 years with no issues, and no tender. Some only last 2 years with a tender.
Some can't sit for more than a few days without dying, while others can be garaged for a few weeks at a time, and still start instantly.
Have a load test done on yours, before you run out and replace it.
