Um, RL, there IS no pic at the bottom. Unless you're saying your car looks like it's sitting on the frame/body (which we kinda know it's not).
As to the OP's car search, I'd agree with the rest: only if you can do it yourself, the repairs. But I think this car has quite a few mods including a wide rear at least, and that the price is probably pretty low compared to others on the market. And thus the OP's interest in the car.
Pass unless you can do the repairs and get it cheap. Without seeing the car I think it may have really been abused. Lots of other cars out there and is this going to be your daily driver. If so you need to think about how long each repair takes and what you will drive while it's being fixed.

Here's my deal '08... Got her in late 07. Had a little work to do to her. A little more than a buff out. The end result is at the bottom.
Really, RL?
Trying to imagine what it looked like, before.
I agree with your take, RL.
Many somewhat easy quick fixes, door handle for example. Body stuff cosmetic. HUD doesn't need replacing, certainly not @ dealer rates.
Like 'lisa' said above though it seems car was neglected which presents questions. What's going on internal to the engine if it wasn't properly maintained etc? Risky.
OP, unless owner's willing to sell far below wholesale book value, just to offset the fixes? I'd pass.

Sounds like a lot of little issues that might drive you insane after you buy it. Also, I don't think mods are supposed to bring up the value in Vettes if anything it would stay the same or they should lose value. My car came with a corsa and K&N CIA, but I wouldn't have paid a nickel extra for them.
