shift **** A6
I've searched and did not find anything.
I replaced my steering wheel in my 08 with one from a 2013 and the chrome trim on the wheel matches the chrome trim on the console now but I still have that brushed aluminum look shift ****. What have you guys done with the shift **** to make it look better? The manual trans shift **** people have a ton of options when it comes to this but the A6 guys, I cannot find much.

Gerry at DSVettes crafts some of the finest interior replacement parts you'll ever find. I didn't know he'd offered an A6 ****, but if it's anything like the custom D wheel he made for me, GO FOR IT.

if it's just the brushed part of the **** that bothers you, it just pops off and you can replace it with several different options. I would bet you can chrome that part as well, or buy one chromed from a forum vendor...
or, take it off and paint it black, that should look better...

I haven't seen vendors that sell it in chrome, i thought maybe you can have it chromed at a chrome shop. Now that i think of it, if i were you I would buy chrome vinyl wrap and DIY. You can pick up a sheet for like $20... Do a google search for chrome vinyl wrap or chrome wrap.

Mine is an 08 Faux Carbon Fiber to match the 08 console bezel. It is an overlay so you don't have to remove the OEM **** cover. It was made by Apsis, a Forum Vendor.
