Gear Selector Light Replace
Does anyone know how to replace the shift selector light on an 05 ?
Any pictures etc? It's an 05 Automatic.
I've searched with no success.

Given that it is the A4, it probably is very similar to the C5. The center console will have to be removed and the shift boot unhooked from the base. Check Vette Essentials for interior removal instructions or one of the others.
If it is anything like the C5 the socket will be brittle from heat exposure and possibly slightly melted to the base.
On my C5 I replace the indicator light with an LED strip since the socket was shot. It did require some trimming to get the LED strip in there.
