AC Question
I have noticed recently that if I don't drive the car everyday that the AC will not get cold for quite some time after beginning to drive. I can turn the temp control to 60 degrees etc and it blows just without cold air like the compressor is not engaged. This is frustrating when it's humid out and you need to clear windows with the defroster as well. It will eventually switch into cooling and then get ice cold like always.
Any suggestions?

Both our 2006 and now our 2009 would start producing cold air within about a minute if it's needed. A five minute delay is not normal.
If you are trying to defog the windows on a cool but humid day, then the system doesn't seem to blow cold air, but blows warm dry air.
