dash lights
Not sure if this has been covered before,in my 08, the dash lights come on sometimes right away and sometimes they come on a half hour later or longer, doesn t matter the outside light, if they don t come on it is hard to select radio channels or see the guages. Any ideas ? When i had it at the Stealership a few weeks back, of course it wouldn t do it, and the lad said, hard to check anything when it is not happening.
Any input would be appreciated.

they are not "coming on" after half an hour - they are on but dimmed because your headlights are probably automatically on - next time get out and check, or alternatively your dash will have the headlight symbol on

the drl are always on, today i drove it for 30 minutes,and all of a sudden they came on, the outside lighitng did not change tho.

My 07 was like that. I would rotate the lights switch
toward me. Turned off lights. DIR would "Headlamps Suggested". It was a Z06 if that matters. My '13 Z06 does not do this.

Does the dimmer work? The little **** by your left knee.
Turn it clockwise and hold it. During the day it will adjust the instrument panel brightness, and at night it adjusts all of the interior lighting.

the dash lights just don t come on. maybe they do, but sometimes they come on maybe half hour later , or sometimes not at all if am on a short trip.
