Wanting a new exhaust system
Looking at corsa, B and B, or flowmaster.
I have an 07 Z51 pkg automatic with paddle shift. I am looking for that low rumble sound when idling, kinda like a harley would sound just a little quiter.
Westcoast corvette is telling me the corsa extreme, but warning me of drone sounds.
Any advice???

Corsa sports are the best, I have the same car as you and the corsa sports do not have a drone and sound great.
Dennis that sound should be off the charts. I originally had the same setup only with the blower and it was frightening loud but I loved the volume. Downside was the odor and drone in the 15-1700 range.

Check out the Borla Type II's. Nice deep sound and no drone even with the A6.

it sounds great with the head work and higher compression, but it does burn you eyes outside the car and with the windows down, but everywhere i go someone says man that thing is all cammed up
I ran the Corsa Sports with catted long tubes and it was about as loud as wanted. I rode in a Corsa Extreme car with stock manifolds and it was too loud. Basically would wake up the neighborhood. The Vette's interior is noisy as it is already. While one might enjoy the initial set up I feel that down the road it could prove to be annoying on long drives, especially with a rider and conversation.
If you want your car to sound like a Harley with straights pipes it would IMOP cheapen the car.
Sports with headers is attitude enough for most I would think and too much for many.
Best thing is to find a local speed shop and try to listen to different set ups and if possible get a ride.
I had Borla Touring with LT headers and high flow cats, was not much louder then stock, went to B&B PRT's and man what a difference with no drone! Plus Mike Boat was great to deal with.
