just a friendly reminder for those who have lowered your car on stock bolts like i did 6 months ago..i never went back to check alignment because it never pulled to any side or felt weird afterwards...just thought it was fine even after lowering it...well,,,i took the wheels off while re-doing my wheel barrels and discovered the inside area of my front tires is completely gone - like no tread almost.. i got about 7/32 everywhere else except a 3" wide patch of tread on the inside - i got there about 3/32...hopefully i can get a few more miles out of them...
if you are considering lowering your, car spend the $100 to have it re-aligned afterwards OR do like i did and save the $100 and spend about $500 on new tires instead...
I'd be afraid to lower my C6 lower than stock for fear of rubbing the front on uneven surfaces. I have to pull into my driveway on an angle now to keep from scraping. I will say the roads aren't the best kept in my area and that doesn't help.

Lowering the car won't cause the tires to rub but scraping the air dam is totally unavoidable. Good thing is they can easily be replaced.
I just lowered my car and I'm trying to find a shop that has a ramp to accommodate my car. Where do you guys go?
i took it to a new Firestone shop in Greer SC right on wade hampton blvd. i was very pleased with their service...4 wheel alignment for $90 out the door....i loved the in-ground alignment lift....didnt have any ramps or anything..the lift is flush with floor...
